How to update your username and email in the Prosperi Academy app?

Updating your personal information, such as your username and email address, is simple. Follow these detailed steps to ensure your account details are up to date.

Updating Your Username

1. Access Profile Settings:
   • Open the Prosperi Academy app.
   • Tap on the Profile icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.
   • Select “Account settings” from the menu at the top right corner.
   • Choose “Profile settings” from the account settings menu.
2. Change Your Username:
   • In the Profile settings menu, tap on “Change username.”
   • Enter your new username in the field provided.
   • Tap on “Update username” to save the changes.

A confirmation message will appear indicating “Username updated” once the change is successful.

Updating Your Email Address

1. Navigate to Email Settings:
   • Still, within the Profile settings, select “Change email” to update your email address.
2. Enter New Email Address:
   • Type your new email address into the provided field.
   • Tap “Send code” to receive a verification code at your new email address.
   • Check your email for the verification code.
3. Verify Your New Email:
   • Return to the app and enter the verification code in the specified field.
   • Tap “Continue” to verify the change.

A confirmation screen will appear stating, “Email updated. Your password has been successfully reset. Now try to log in.”

Handling Existing Email Issues

If an error occurs indicating an issue with the existing email, such as “Error with existing email” when trying to update, ensure:

• You are using the correct email associated with your account.
• There are no typos or errors in the email address entered.
• If the issue persists, consider whether the email address might be associated with another account or contact support for further assistance.

• For security reasons, it is crucial to enter the verification code received by email to complete the update process.
